I write features about all sorts of weird and wonderful things for a number of publications, in print and online

I’m particularly interested in sustainability, architecture and interiors, history, travel and food and drink, but I’m always up for an interesting feature commission whatever the topic.

For over a year I had the pleasure of ghostwriting a monthly magazine column for Michael Caines MBE

In recent years I’ve written about all and sundry - from female clowns to seaweed harvesters to Scottish dancers. Recent commissions have taken me for tea with the Earl and Countess of Devon, found me sitting on the deck of a sailing boat high up in a barn and seen me grappling with Schrödinger’s cat (the concept not the feline).

I also contribute articles penned on behalf of others to a wide range of newspapers and magazines. For over a year I had the pleasure of ghostwriting a monthly magazine column for Michael Caines MBE, the chef/patron of Michelin-starred Lympstone Manor. As you can imagine, I needed to pay several visits to Michael’s luxury country house hotel to make sure I captured the feel of the place!
